1. Overview
AllJobGuider Career OS ("we", "our", or "us") provides a career pipeline management platform (the "Service") to help students and professionals track their job search. We take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy details the types of information we collect, how it is secured, and how we handle third-party integrations (specifically Google Calendar and Gmail APIs).
2. Information We Collect
a. Account Information
When you register for an account, we collect your email address and password. Passwords are securely hashed using industry-standard salted hashing algorithms (bcrypt with a minimum cost factor of 12).
b. Career Pipeline Data
We store details of career opportunities you manually enter or import, including company names, job titles, application links, notes, resumes, cover letters, and deadlines.
c. Google API Data (Connected Integrations)
If you choose to enable Gmail Integration or Google Calendar Integration, we request authorization via Google OAuth to access specific scopes. We details our scope usage below in compliance with Google developer verification.
Google API Services User Data Policy Disclosure
AllJobGuider's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
• Gmail Read-Only Access (gmail.readonly, gmail.labels): We only scan your connected inbox to auto-detect confirmation and update emails regarding job applications (by matching keywords like "applied", "application status", "interview invite"). We do NOT read, store, or share your personal or unrelated emails.
• Google Calendar Access (`calendar.events`): We only create, edit, or delete events that you schedule within the AllJobGuider platform (e.g., application deadlines, Online Assessment links, and interviews) to synchronize them to your Google Calendar.
• Zero Data Selling: Under no circumstances do we sell your data, utilize it for advertising purposes, or allow third-party access to it.
3. Data Security and Storage
We implement industry-standard administrative, physical, and electronic security measures to safeguard your credentials. All data in transit is encrypted using secure TLS 1.3 tunnels, and data at rest is encrypted (including AES-256 encryption of Google OAuth access and refresh tokens).
4. Data Deletion and Revocation
You hold absolute ownership of your data. You may revoke access to connected Google integrations at any time via the Settings page inside the application, which immediately destroys the stored OAuth tokens in our database.
If you request account deletion, we will instantly revoke all active session tokens, flag your account, and permanently purge all associated opportunities, notes, documents, and OAuth credentials from our databases within 30 days.
